The following case study presents a patient with traumatic brain injury (TBI) in temporal and occipital
left lobes, the product of an automobile accident. The purpose was to provide alternative strategies and
help shoulder the deficit found from patient cognitive performance using Neuropsychological Battery for
adults-Luria DNA. Compensating affected areas activity. The evaluation revealed alterations at selective
and sustained attention, as well as, inability to manage spatial coordinates and to evoke a series of
unrelated words, also to store and retrieve information by association with other information. The patient
underwent to 10 rehabilitation sessions, observing the following results: visuospatial abilities of receptive
language and mnesic processes are improving. Inhibitory control shows a significant improvement.
