Abstract

This research collected the incidence of psychological maltreatment in couple relationships of college students in Trujillo. A 92 item instrument was constructed and it was applied to a sample of 400 students from four universities in the city ofTrujillo. The results show that there are indicators of maltreatment in 15.3% of students and possible indicators of maltreatmentin 74.3%.The results in terms of maltreatment according to gender, age, length of relationship and evaluated factors are also presented.
