Aggressiveness: neurophysiological bases

Abstract

This is a review about the aggressive behavior, that is defined as "the delivery of a noxious stimulus by one organism to another with intent thereby to harm and with some expectation that the stimulus will reach its target and have its intented effect”, it starts by analysing the social view in our medium, after focuses the classical psychological and physiopatological aspect, it describes the laboratory models, the genetic and hormonal implication, the neurotransmitters role, and finish reviewing the neuropsychological aspect, the preventive and psychotherapeutic management in order to avoid this negative behavior that can see in the childhood yet.
