The Covid-19 revealed from the beginning the real situation of the information management systems in health care. Large IT gaps or technological gaps around the management of information and their negative impact on the corporate actions of health institutions were observed throughout the world. Inoperations, distortions of information, lack of structuring of the computer and communication processes and / or the lack of identification of internal communication codes, among others, are reported, putting at risk the processes of patient or user care and / or or the quality of them. There is a need to understand these phenomena in order to transform them into opportunities to improve the quality of care. From this perspective, here, we analyze the characteristics of this phenomenon through the evidence shown in the current literature in order to project possibilities of improving the management processes of health systems and corporate actions in health institutions.
