Research that focuses on public policies that frame the guidelines within the territorial scope, in order to achieve their compliance in society, companies and the State, based on the regulations of the general environmental law and the federal law of environmental responsibility, of the countries of Peru and Mexico. Objective is to determine if public policies focus on environmental contamination based on legal regulations. Methodology used is a qualitative approach, hermeneutic method, interpretive paradigm in the case of comparatives in the standards, two artificial intelligence (AI) programs were applied to obtain the summary as the first filter and these in turn to a second program that performs the synthesis of results of both laws. Result of population identified in the conservation of the environment as a common good for current and future generations, where compliance with public policies is generated, and with great support from AI. Therefore, it is concluded that the norms established in each of the countries are aimed at promoting citizen participation in environmental decision-making. In Peru, it does not specifically focus on the repair of environmental damage, while, in Mexico, it establishes the obligation of those responsible to repair the damage caused to the environment and creates an Environmental Responsibility Fund to finance said repair.
