Propiedades psicométricas del Smartphone Application-Based Addiction Scale (SABAS) en universitarios peruanos

La Smartphone Application-Based Addiction Scale (SABAS) es una herramienta breve que evalúa el nivel de exposición de adicción a teléfonos inteligentes. El propósito del estudio es examinar la estructura interna y confiabilidad de esta escala, aplicada en estudiantes universitarios de Lima, teniendo una muestra de 463 estudiantes universitarios, con edades entre 18 y 43 años (M=20,04; DE=3,29). Los resultados muestran indicadores de consistencia interna aceptable (α= 0,84; ω= 0,84). En los índices de ajuste del modelo factorial confirmatorio reveló que la escala es unifactorial, mostrando indices de ajustes adecuados (χ2/df=3,64, RMSEA = 0,076 [IC90%: 0,049 - 0,104], SRMR = 0,038, CFI = 0,995 y TLI = 0,992). También mostró correlaciones positivas y débil con los síntomas de ansiedad y depresión de la escala PHQ-4. Los hallazgos respaldan la utilidad del SABAS como herramienta de tamizaje para evaluar la adicción a los teléfonos inteligentes en el contexto universitario limeño.
