Abstract

The present study aimed to determine the psychometric properties of the Multidimensional Scale of Assertiveness (EMA) and Diaz Loving Florez in adolescents of School Santa Rosa de Trujillo. Her sample consisted of 310 students of 4th and 5th grade secondary level. EMA results obtained were subjected to statistical analysis to find that the test is valid and reliable. To determine construct's validity is made by analyzing item - test, in which higher scores were obtained at 0.20 and the factor analysis obtained a high value on the test KMO = 0.85 which indicates the existence of many high correlations significant among the factors that produce the composition of the threedimensional raised by the authors of the test. Reliability was determined through Cronbach Alfha analysis, getting results, not the dimensions of assertiveness and assertiveness indirect [0.80 to 0.85>, good reliability, and in the case of the dimension of Assertiveness, reliability [0.75 to 0.80 > very respectable reliability. Furthermore we developed a general scale, since there was no difference between ages degrees. Finally it was concluded that the EMA Multidimensional scale allows good reproducibility of the instrument.
