Abstract

Type This Technological study aimed to describe the psychometric properties of Clinical Education Questionnaire: Anxiety and depression in a sample of students from first to fifth secondary of two educational institutions "A" and "B" in the city of Trujillo. The sample consisted of 441 students from the school “A” and 159 of the educational institution "B." The results of CECAD were subjected to statistical analysis found that the test is valid and reliable. To determine the construct validity was made by analyzing item - test, in which scores were greater than 0.30 and the factor analysis was obtained in eleven grouping of items by factor loading factors, we proceeded to perform the confirmatory factor analysis which led to the composition of the four dimensions raised by the authors of the test. Reliability was determined through Cronbach Alfha analysis, reaching a high level of reliability with Alpha = 0.936. In addition we developed a general T score scale for the dimensions of Futility and irritability, as there were no differences between ages for these dimensions.
