Abstract

The objective of the research was to analyze the validity evidences of the Family Interaction Quality Scale, ECIF, by Weber, Müller, Salvador and Brandenburg (2008) in a sample formed by 752 students between 11 and 17 years old, belonging to public educational institutions. Trujillo Confirmatory factor analysis was used, where factor loads greater than .37 were found in the father and mother sections. By means of the method of unweighted minimum squares, an adequate general adjustment report is obtained. Reliability was found using the Omega coefficient, with values between .66 to .90 in the father's test and between .65 to .87 in the mother's test, considered reliable. It is concluded that the ECIF test has adequate evidence of validity and reliability.
