Hydraulic and structural design of the channeling and riverside defenses in the Virú river, Zaraque - Virú Bridge
Keywords:
Design, Structural, ModelingAbstract
The work it has been made in Virú River in the section Zaraque - Puente Virú, in which floods are a recurring problem. The goal of the work was to the design consists in considering an adequate cannel width and dimensions of the riparian defenses according to the design parameters established by the National Water Authority and the Ministry of Economy and Finance in the Methodological Guide for Projects of Protection and / or Control of Floods in Agricultural or Urban Areas. A study of risk and vulnerability and environmental impact of the study area was also carried out. The hydraulic design has been made for a maximum flood flow of 393.53 m3 / s corresponding to a return period of 140 years, with which the optimum width of the river has been determined, opting for widths of 50, 75 and 90 m., with whose results the hydraulic approach and modeling was carried out in the proposed condition, determining that it is required that the riparian defense structures have a height of 3.50, 3.00 and 2.80 m., the maximum depth of scour in the study section is 2.01 m., then the structural design was made determining that the foundation depths will be between 2.00m to 3.00m, the average diameter of rock from 0.80 to 1.00m and thickness of gravel filter 0.20 m; According to the analysis of stability of the analyzed sections, they are stable.
Finally, the referential Project cost amounts to Thirty one Million Six hundred thirteen thousand six hundred and sixtyeight and 53/100 Soles (S /. 31, 613,668.53) which includes the direct cost, general expenses, utility and IGV. direct cost of S / 7,076,247.01 and a total amount that includes general expenses, profits and general tax on the sale of s / 9,602,467.19.
