Abstract

This research is correlational with a quantitative approach with a simple prospective

correlational cross-sectional design. Aimed to determine the level of stress and their relation to coping strategies. The sample consisted of 80 internal nursing, to which we applied the Rating Scale Stress Level Rating Scale and Coping Strategies. More than half of the interviewed domestic nursing (51.3%) have a high stress level, followed by medium level of stress (36.3%) and only one-eighth of them (12.5%) have a low level of stress. 53.8% have a level of maladaptive strategies, while the 46.3% level of adaptive strategies. There is significant relationship between the level of Stress and Coping Strategies Level of internal nursing according to the results of the test of independence of criteria Chi-square p = 0.012 <0.05.
