Abstract

The purpose of this research was; determine the level of influence of human talent in the public management of the district municipality of Lagunas, period 2020. The research approach was quantitative and applied, using the non-experimental, descriptive and cross-sectional correlational research design. In the study, all 50 workers who work in the municipality were taken into account as the population; of them are considered to be considered a census sample, since the population is small and to whom the developed
questionnaires were applied where 24 items were designed organized around 4 dimensions related to the variable of human talent, and another 18 items focused on 3 dimensions. linked to the public management variable, whose responses were evaluated using a Likert scale, in order to measure the response of the workers regarding the study variables. The results showed that human talent has a significant influence on public management in the District Municipality of Lagunas, period 2020. A Spearman rating coefficient (Rho) of 0.640 was found, which indicates a good assessment between both variables. Furthermore, a significance level of 0.000 was obtained, lower than 0.05, which led to the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis and the rejection of the null hypothesis. Regarding the subvariables competencies, knowledge, skills and ethical behaviors, the Spearman evaluation coefficients were 0.464, 0.433, 0.400 and 0.762, respectively, with significance levels of 0.001, 0.002, 0.004 and 0.000, all less than 0.05. This confirms that each dimension of human talent significantly influences the public management of the municipality.
