Abstract

The technological advances of the last decades have served as support for the optimization of processes in different areas of society and education is no stranger to this reality. In fact, the development of this work aims to demonstrate collective research through a virtual learning environment within the development of the research project "Influence of student leadership in the Colombian social context" in a master's degree in education in virtual mode. Initially, the background on collective research through virtual learning environments is presented, then the research construction process is analyzed, starting with the statement of the problem, continuing with the development of the theoretical framework, the elaboration of
instruments, their application and the analysis of the results obtained collectively through a virtual learning environment. Finally, we conclude the importance of ICT during the development of the research process and its relevance during the pandemic caused by COVID 19.
