Abstract

The present research aims to analyze the intervention of the Social Worker in times of pandemic and the challenges that arise in their actions and how they are intervening from the models of action and professional intervention. In this research inductive - deductive and analytical - Synthetic methods were used; the techniques used were the survey and its instrument the questionnaire. The total study population and sample universe is made up of 80 Social Workers who work in the city of Trujillo. The results showed the previous knowledge of the intervention of the Social Worker with families of use to the socio-affective development of the members of this, demonstrating the professional intervention with the action models through their methodological process to achieve human and social promotion. The conclusions indicate that social workers carry out their professional work based on the empowerment of the human being from a bio - psycho - social - spiritual perspective, that 80,8% have an active work situation, prioritizing educational work, alliances and strategies and as models the crisis model, focused on the task, empowerment, defense and competition.
