Abstract

The present article of static microzoning of soils blocks A-B-C-D, in Mercado Libertad (La Hermelinda), District Trujillo, determined the map of microzonification using the methods of SUCS and Terzaghi; Soil strata were sampled by means of six 3.50 m deep pits, where it was determined, according to the Unified Soil Classification System (SUCS), that the physical-mechanical characteristics of the soils are between poorly graded arenas (SP) and silty sands (SM), with a permissible load capacity between (1.60 to 1.75) kg / cm2 for insulated shoes of 1.5 m by 1.5 m; And for running foundations (0.94 to 0.98) kg / cm2. It is concluded that the support capacity of the soils is low resistance.
