Maintenance Management to improve the availability of the Company's Vehicle Fleet Díaz Acarreos Generales

Abstract

In this work a maintenance management will be carried out for the company Diaz Acarreos Generales S.A.C. (DAG), which aims to increase the indicators of its units of the route Trujillo - Piura It was started by collecting information on the work related to the topic, also sought theoretical information on types of maintenance, vehicles among others, then proceeded to prepare a record of the units to obtain their Availability, Reliability and Maintenance indicators, then A criticality analysis of the most critical parts was made, after obtaining these elements, inspection documents and works were produced. Then a maintenance plan was elaborated taking into account the needs that these units have, this plan was simulated in a program of maintenance called PROMODEL, when obtaining data of the simulation the initial indicators with the simulated ones were compared, resulting in the increase of the Indicators of Availability, Reliability and Maintenance, then the calculation of return on investment was made, resulting in the project being feasible and sustainable.
