Abstract

In the present investigation the development of a "Warehouse information system to improve the control of inventory in the company Chanta Romero Soldadura y Servicios E.I.R.L. " was studied. The general objective was to improve the control of inventory in the company Chanta Romero Soldadura y Servicios E.I.R.L. An information system was used which was oriented to the organization of processed data, likewise. The type of research that was followed was applied and pre-experimental. The Z test of Difference of means and as an ICONIX development methodology was used as data analysis method, since it was subjected to selection and proved to be the most acceptable for the achievement of the present investigation. In addition, with the implemented system, the average time of product entry to the warehouse was reduced by 63.49%; In addition the average time of registration of output of warehouse products was reduced by 75.18%; Likewise, the average time to obtain reports was reduced by 86.85%.
