Mobile web system of hotel / tourist consultation to improve the diffusion of hotels and lodgings in the city of Trujillo

Abstract

In the present investigation the development of a Mobile Web was studied that had as purpose to improve the diffusion of hotels and lodging of the city of Trujillo. A web system was developed, which was oriented to the search of hotels and lodgings, in addition; Of tools needed to rate and comment on the selected hotel. A pre-experimental investigation was carried out. Thirty-five people were taken as the study population, all of whom are Tourists from our city. A sample of 32 people was sampled from this population. The Shapiro Wilk Normality test was applied which resulted in the application of the T-test for the contracting of the hypotheses and as an ICONIX development methodology, since it was evaluated by experts and resulted in the best use. In addition, after the implementation of the system, the level of diffusion was increased by 15%, that is to 71.4%. In addition, the level of satisfaction of the surveyed tourist was increased with respect to hotel diffusion, increasing from 55.6% to 72.2 %, Also increased by 12.4%, rising from 57.6% to 70% of the level of tourist knowledge. Finally, it is concluded that the implementation of the web system significantly improved the diffusion of hotels and lodging in the city of Trujillo.
