The present investigation was carried out with the general objective of determining the technical specifications of the components to improve the test equipment of the centrifugal pumps manufactured in the company Industrial Moreno S.A Trujillo and to obtain the characteristic curves of operation for different speeds of rotation. The design of experimental research, pure experimental type, because they were directly tested on the improved test equipment built at the company Industrial Moreno S.A. Population and sample: Test equipment of centrifugal pumps of water Manufactured in the company Industrial Moreno S.A. Currently the company Industrial Moreno performs its own process of casting, using the most common and feasible manufacturing process as sand casting, this is a refractory material very abundant in nature and, mixed with clay, acquires cohesion and moldability without To lose the permeability that makes it possible to evacuate the gases from the mold while pouring the molten metal, guaranteeing an adequate mold and therefore of the obtained piece. For many engineers the application of bombs is a hazy subject, surrounded by an abundance of miscellaneous information that is difficult to relate to a given problem. The results obtained from tests carried out on the test bench using the new components are consistent with the tests carried out on the old test bench, as well as verifying their proper functioning within the permissible values with which they were selected, reaching Values of 90% of the yield. The four characteristic curves of the water pump manufactured at Industrial Moreno S.A Trujillo were plotted, which complemented the technical data of these pumps. The new test equipment was quoted and yielded a total cost of S / .12185 Soles, which is accessible by the company and covered within the cost of manufacturing the company's pumps. Conclusions: The performance curve of the net positive suction height was determined as a function of the pump now rate for different rotation speeds; The losses generated in the suction line were calculated by the throttling valve, mainly reducing to the available NPSH of the installation until cavitation occurred. The four characteristic curves of the water pump manufactured in Industrial Moreno S.A Trujillo were plotted, which complemented the technical data of these pumps; The new test equipment has a total cost of S / .12185 Soles.
