Relation of the information technology and the business management of a small business of Trujillo, 2016

This research was carried out with the objective of determining the relationship of information technologies and business management in a small company in Trujillo. The method used in the research was non-experimental, the type of study was quantitative, with correlational design between the variable information technologies and the variable business management. The sample consisted of a total of 35 workers. The dimensions of business management considered were: strategic plan, organizational culture and business objectives. The results showed that there is a relationship between information technologies and the management of small companies, obtaining the Spearman rho of 0.475 with a value of p = 0.001, with a confidence level of 95%. In addition information technologies are significantly related to business management and the same relationship is given in terms of its dimensions: organizational culture and business objectives, small business. The results obtained establish the need to continue to encourage the use of information technologies in the study company in an intensive way in order to improve its competitiveness and thus ensure its consolidation in the market. Likewise, the existence of deficiencies, limitations and restrictions in the application of information technologies are explained by the fact of not taking into account the theoretical approaches linked to these applications or by not adapting its management model to these technologies.
