This research evaluated the effect of TiO2 nanoparticles content in the solution aniline / HCl on the conductivity of polyaniline - emeraldine salt. The objective was to obtain a polyaniline with the highest electrical conductivity and better crystalline structure. We evaluated two different polymerization processes (synthesis of PANI) at three different temperatures to obtain the compound polyaniline – emeraldine salt / titanium oxide nanoparticles (PANISE/nanoTiO2 ) by synthesis 'in situ' by placing nano-particles (<1 00 nm) in the solution aniline / HCl, then the compound obtained was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and assessed the variation of the electrical conductivity of the PANI in the presence of different percentages nano-TiO2. The results show that TiO2 3% solution in aniline/HCl yields a structurally different compound, not dominate the structures of the PANI-SE nor the TiO2. Thus achieving higher electrical conductivity in the compound.
