Abstract

The main objective of this research was to determine the correlation between Parental Socialization and Antisocial Behavior - Crime, being the target population Emblematic Public Educational Institution " San Pedro " in a sample of 159 students from third, fourth and fifth grades of secondary both sexes, 13-18 years. Instruments used Scale Parental Socialization Styles in Adolescents (ESPA 29) Musitu & Garcia, (2001), and Antisocial behaviors Questionnaire - Criminal (A - D) Seisdedos Nicholas , (2001 ). The results show an inverse correlation is weak grade and highly significant (p<.01) between the subscales of Affection and Criminal Conduct Dialogue with. Moreover inverse correlations were found weak and significant degree (p<.05) between the dimension Involvement/Acceptance with Antisocial Behavior - Delinquent. Grade correlations were found weak and significant (p<.05) in the Dialogue with Antisocial subscale; displeasure with Antisocial - Crime. There is an inverse correlation degree weak and highly significant (p<.01) between the dimension Involvement/Acceptance with Antisocial scale also in Affection subscale Antisocial Behavior. Inverse correlations were found weak and significant degree (p<.05) subscale of Affection and Criminal Conduct Dialogue with Antisocial Behavior. Direct correlations were weak and significant degree (p< .05) between the subscales of nonchalance and indifference and Antisocial Behavior. Finally we found a direct correlation degree weak and significant (p< .05) between the subscale Physical Coercion and Criminal Conduct.
