Abstract

The present work has as general objective to improve the reading of blind people in the Luis Braille Association through an intelligent system, a population of 100 blind people of said association was considered, the method of distribution analysis was used for the hiring of hypothesis. the student's Z and T test, and for the development of the intelligent system, the V or four-level methodology was used; it is concluded that the first indicator, which is the average reading time of the blind with the current system, is 510.65 seconds while with the proposed system is of 86.41 seconds observing a decrease of 83.28%, with respect to the second indicator the number of support software assisted to blind people with the current system is obtained the amount of 43 softwares and with the proposed system it is 116 where an increase of 91.25% is shown, in the third indicator the number of books consulted of blind people with the current system is 44 queries and with the proposed system is 296 showing an increase of 85.14% and in the fourth indicator the level of reading satisfaction of blind people with the current system you get 10.99 points and with the proposed system 20.43 points showing an increase of 46.21%.
