Abstract

Improving the management of documentary procedures of the Santiago de Cao district municipality was the main objective of this research called "WEB RESPONSIVE SYSTEM FOR IMPROVING DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT IN THE SANTIAGO DE CAO DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY 2017" through a web system responsive with the purpose of allowing optimize processes in the receiving and sending of documents. This information was obtained through the observation of the processes of the main area or reception of documents performing at the same time questionnaires to officials of the administrative units and taxpayers. Where a population of 24 people was obtained and being this a small population was also taken as the sample for the development of the research. The application Iconix software development methodology, also as data analysis methods the tests “Z mean difference" and "T Student mean difference" were used. The time of documentary processing was reduced by 77%, also the time of reception and sending of documents by 57.13%, likewise the time of access to the information from documents also decreased by 68.27%, on the other hand, the level of satisfaction of administrative officials and taxpayer was possible increase by 37%. Therefore, the document processing management of the Municipality was improved through the application and implementation of the system.
