Abstract

This research was developed for the purpose of determining whether there is a relationship between the fungal microorganisms of the air and the health of the population of the Sector Mampuesto B.2 – El Porvenir,2017. The design that was applied in the research was a non-Experimental design – Transverse of the correlation type, the type of sampling was non-probabilistic – for convenience when using the grid method for the selection of the 20 houses and the sample of inhabitants (60) to survey. The data analysis method used was Kendall's Tau-C test to 95% reliability using SPSS 24. In conclusion, it was possible to determine fungal concentrations between values of 0 – 1062 CFU/m3, presenting internal environments from uncontaminated to contaminated areas; and identifying the presence of possible allergies such as ocular symptoms (52%), nasal symptoms (67%), throat symptoms (47%), respiratory disorders (23%) and cutaneous disorders (5%) caused by these microorganisms. Finally, it was determined statistically that there is a relationship between the fungal microorganisms of air and health, generating only the presence of ocular symptoms and respiratory disorders in the population under study.
