Abstract

The general objective of this research is to know how much comfort improves when implementing a Home Automation System for people with locomotion disabilities, this through an Android mobile device that sends data via Bluetooth. To carry out the whole development, it was proposed to continue with an XP methodology (Extreme Programming) as it simplifies the design and streamlines the development, in addition to making software maintenance easier. In addition, electronic components such as Arduino Mega 2560, Bluetooth module HC-06, Module HX711, weight cell and other components such as led's, servomotors, DC motors and others. The software was compiled in C for Arduino and for Android, the APP Inventor was used. It was possible to obtain a 238.33% increase in the average number of activities carried out in the home. Likewise, the average time to turn on or off a focus was reduced by 76.95%, concluding that the proposed system improves the comfort of people with locomotion disabilities when carrying out their activities.
