Abstract

The present study had as its general objective to apply process management to improve the efficiency of the industrial gas distribution company. Materials and methods: The type of methodology applied was a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design. The study population covered all the company's processes during the period of February 2023, including all the organization's collaborators. The selected sample consisted of the company's various processes. Results: Initially, problems such as the lack of strategic definition and documentation in seven processes were identified, generating delays and low efficiency. After implementation, efficiency improved by 22.93%, reducing delay times from 83.13 to 52.23 minutes. Process management included the definition of processes and flowcharts, significantly improving the company's operation. Conclusions: A significance level of p=0.000 less than (α =0.05) was obtained, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which establishes that the application of process management improves the efficiency of the company.
