Abstract

The general objective of the research was to apply distribution requirement planning to reduce distribution times in the fish preservation company. Materials and methods. The methodology used was of the applied type, quantitative approach, and pre-experimental design. Results. In the results it was determined thet the main ones that gererate mismanagement in logistics, delay of orders, lack of coordination, continuous errors in the records of the minutes and lack of training; The distribution time that was obtained before the application was determined was 61.95% of the total orders delivered within 10 dayas and after its application of the DRP, giveng a positive impact on the company with 98.73% of total orders delivered within of the 10 days of the 1104 orders generated for three months, which represents 100% of orders. Conclusions. It is concluded that by applying distribution requirement planning (DRP) an increase in the distribution time indicator was achieved, in such a was thet it allows a reduction in deliveries, thus generating greater benefits to the company and satisfaction to the customers.end users belonging to the PNAEQW.
