Abstract

This type technological research aimed to determine the psychometric properties of the Scale of Parental socialization styles in adolescent students from first to fifth high school in State and private educational institutions of the city of Moyobamba. Among the psychometric findings, confirmatory factor analysis, where the CFI and GFI indices indicate a good fit (> .95) in both tests, with mean square error approach, which shows a good fit (˂.05) between the model estimated and the theoretical model in both tests. construct validity was found through the itemtest correlation, reporting values, acceptance / involvement Mother values range between .30 and .64. The father .27 and .68. Coercion / Mother imposition values ranging from .43 and .65. The father 38 and 62. The internal consistency reliability was estimated by Cronbach's alpha coefficient, acceptance / involvement of mother and father dimension 0.95 and 0.96 was obtained, while the level in Dialogue, 0.95 and 0.95 , Affection, 0.93 and 0.94, 0.93 and 0.91 Indifference, indifference 0.93 and 0.92. Coercion / taxation dimension, an internal consistency of 0.96 and 0.95, in the scale, verbal coercion, 0.93 and 0.91, physical coercion, 0.95 and 0.94, deprivation, and 0.94. Finalmente 0.95 was obtained, the percentile scales established by managements within the state administration by age and sex and in private management by sex.
