Abstract

The objective of this research was to evaluate the relationship between bone mineral density and blood pressure in menopausal women at the Eleazar Guzmán Barrón Regional Hospital. Through a case-control study, we worked with a sample of 39 cases and 78 controls, which met the criteria laid down. The results showed that hypertension has an OR of 4.64 and an IC 2.024- 10.653. It was concluded that hypertension is associated with osteoporosis and osteopenia in postmenopausal women factor.
