Biopsychocultural factors related to compliance with dietary therapy in patients with hypertension, adult - Club regional hospital "Eleazar Guzman Barron ", Chimbote 2014

The precent study has determined the biopsychocultural factor related in compliance with diet treatment especially in high blood pressure patients in the adult club at the Regional Hospital “Eleazar Guzman Barron” from Chimbote, 2014. It was applied a correlacional descriptive test. The sample was 36 high blood pressure patients. Consequently to evaluate the biopsychocultural factor related in compliance with diet treatment it was applied the interview and a survey. Between the biosociocultural factor we have: female (63,9%) age: between 41 and 60 years (75%) higher education (55,6%). However the 69,4% doesn´t drink alcohol and the 91,7% doesn´t use cigarettes. Additionally the most patients (69,4%) associated with the adult club at the Regional Hospital “Eleazar Guzman Barron” shows a regular level related in compliance with diet treatment. Finally doesn´t exist relation between gender, age and the use of cigarettes related and the compliance with diet treatment (p>0,05), additionally there is a significant relation (p<0,05).
