Abstract

The Present Study: pre quantitative experimental research was conducted during the months of April and May 2014 in the " Santa Isabel " del Porvenir hospital, with the Purpose of determining S. Effectiveness of Educational program "Promoting Physical Activity "in The Level Knowledge, Practices and Levels of blood Pressure in Elderly. The sample universe consisted of 30 adults over 60 years, which were selected according to the criteria of inclusion. Questionnaire Prepared by the Author for assess the level of Knowledge and Practice on Physical Activity and The Taking of blood pressure, applied to the beginning and end of the educational program was used for data collection, considering the rights of confidentiality and Voluntary Participation Older Adults. For statistical analysis the SPSS program and the Student t test for Hiring assumption was used, with a value of p ≤ 0.05. The Educational Program on Physical Activity was effective on the level of Knowledge, Practices and Blood Pressure Levels in Aging of St. Elizabeth Hospital.
