Abstract

This study is quantitative, non-experimental descriptive, seeks to determine the risk factors for Cerebrovascular Disease Mothers Club members Zoila Victoria de La Torre de Hague, Victor Larco, Trujillo. The theoretical foundations are supported on the model of health promotion Nola Pender. Attended by 27 members, who have applied a questionnaire - observation to measure risk factors for cerebrovascular disease and blood sample was taken for determination of glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides, control blood pressure, weight and height at each one. Concluding that the most prevalent risk factor in partner to generate a cerebrovascular disease, cholesterol (74%) followed by obesity (48%), physical inactivity (41%), triglycerides (30%) and a significant percentage of pre-hypertension (11%), diabetes (7%), alcohol (9%) and the same percentage consumption of snuff. Wherefore should promote healthy lifestyles to reduce these factors and prevent this disease life
