Abstract

The research analyze the impact of the development of MYPES in the economic growth of the La Libertad Region in the period 2004-2011. We used the theoretical and empirical method, since the observation was made to translate and interpret the information obtained. The study is descriptive research design is non-experimental cross section. The results indicate that the PBI of this region from 2004 to 2008, grew up with a percentage change of 10%, for the year 2009 of 2% for 2011 increased by 4%. Also, tax revenues in 2004 presents a percentage change of 12%, while that in 2011 is about 20%, while the employment side during the 2004-2011 period has been increasing with average percentage variation of 3%. Therefore, currently MYPES are a very important and necessary for the growth and development of a region, since they occupy more than 60% of the PEA, provide more than 40% of PBI and tax revenue in La Libertad region for the year 2011 shows an increase of 20% and actual amount amounting to S /. 1'007, 367 soles.
