Abstract

This study was performed in order to analyze the current Urban-architectural conditions presented by the Central Local Trade Leoncio Prado street 1 and 2 and Junin street 7, 8 and 9 at Pacasmayo City and its Urban Impact. The study was conducted in July 2012. The sample consisted of business premises, without mystification of use, stationed in the area of study, also a representative group of users involved (seller and buyer). Technique was applied and interview sheet was used for observation and photographic logbook. It was determined that: there is a high degree of commercial land use reflected in 63% of the sector's total, in 11 different trade areas, the urban image presents an altered visual set of architectural elements, major commercial establishments have a series of architectural features and components that reflect inadequate physical-space to be the item of clothing selling the most visited (24% of clients).
