Selfcare and biopsicoculturals factors in patients with metabolic syndrome

The study is quantitative, descriptive, correlational, transversal and prospective. Was performed in order to determine the ability of self and its relation to biopsicoculturals factors identified in Metabolic Syndrome Program patients. Data were collected through a quiz. The sample consisted of 100% of the population. We used the chi-square test to establish the relationship between the variables with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that 79.7% of patients with metabolic syndrome were older, 52.5% are male, 98.3% had low psychological well-being, while 44.1% had grade of higher education while 47.5% of patients with metabolic syndrome have good knowledge level. In analyzing the relationship was obtained p value of 0.71. We concluded that there is no relationship between the self and the factors of the patients biopsicoculturals Basic Unit of Primary Care-Victor Larco.
