The main goal of this study was to investigate the effect of a workshop about didactic strategies to improve fine motor skills in three-year-old children of the PRONOEI Mi Nuevo Amanecer (My new Dawn) in the city of Trujillo, during the year 2015. A pre-experimental design was used on 15 threeyear-old students. The level of fine motor skills was evaluated through its three dimensions (holding, manipulating and eye-hand coordination). The instrument used was an observation guide with a Cronbach coefficient of 0.779. After applying a pre-test, a program was developed to improve fine motor skills. A post-test was applied after 12 learning sessions. The results indicated that by applying the workshop using didactic strategies, fine motor skills in three-year-old students improved significantly.
