Abstract

The present investigation studied the elaboration process of a mobile educational application of augmented reality based on markers aiming at improving the level of learning in the use of vowels and numbers in children over 4 years old in the nursery-kindergarten “Juana Alarco de Dammert” in Trujillo. The type of research was pre-experimental; the Student T-Test was used as a data analysis method and the XP software as development methodology, because it adjusts to the development of the present investigation. In addition, due to the implemented application it was possible to improve the level of academic performance in the use of vowels by 27.6%, and by 22.6% in the use of numbers. It was concluded that due to the implementation of the mobile educational application of augmented reality, the level of learning in the use of vowels and numbers in the children of the nursery-kindergarten “Juana Alarco de Dammert” was improved.
