The Faculties of Human Medicine do not generally consider human sexuality issues in their curriculum and the newly graduated physician is always invited to lecture on this subject in the community. The objective was to evaluate the level of knowledge about human sexuality and attitudes on current topics of socio-sexual problems in recent graduate physicians. Observational, prospective and descriptive study; population: all of the newly graduated doctors who attended the SERUMS induction course organized by the Chiclayo Regional Council Medical College in 2019, were 76 graduates from three universities. Instrument: Validated anonymous questionnaire applied 20 minutes before the end of the conference, the tabulation was manual and statistical tests were applied to see differences between universities or gender. The level of general knowledge was considered bad 61% and regulate 32% no significant differences depending on gender but there was difference according to university. With regard to attitudes 80% did not agree with gay marriage, 82% disagreed with the legalization of abortion and 62% disagreed with gender ideology and 93% believe that issues of human sexuality and debate about sociosexual problems should occur in medical schools. It is concluded that in general, most new physicians have poor knowledge about human sexuality and the attitude is contrary to the legalization of abortion, gay marriage and gender ideology and consider it necessary to teach sexology in faculties.
