Efficient and effective administrative-financial management plan to optimize the manage work of Cesar Vallejo University, Trujillo, 2011

Abstract

The objective of this research is to elaborate an efficient and effective administrative-financial management plan to optimize the managerial work of Cesar Vallejo University, Trujillo, 2011. What is the efficient administrative-financial management plan to administer Cesar Vallejo University in Trujillo with modern methods in 2011? The proposal consists of a plan for improving the administrative-financial management of this university through a sample of 311 people including undergraduate and postgraduate students, teaching and administrative staff. The information in the accounts and financial registers for 2008-2010 of Cesar Vallejo University have been subjected to the historic and electronic documentation technique applying survey and observation processes. The results allowed an analysis of administrativefinancial performance, which is considered acceptable, plus an analysis of strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats of César Vallejo University. The research concludes with the proposal for an improved administrative-financial management plan to achieve efficiency and effectiveness levels coherent with the technological-scientific advances of this type of business organization.
