Abstract

The research aimed to reveal the everyday family life of teenagers 15 to 20 years in relation to the risks of sexually transmitted infections of the Nuevo Horizonte slum of La Esperanza, Trujillo, 2010. The sample universe consisted of 300 families, of which we selected a sample of 50 families with adolescents between 15 and 20 years of age and study, and were part of families are nuclear type. To obtain the data was direct observation and survey personally with preset questionnaire format. Were found in the subjects treated adolescents in their families were pregnancy, STIs and contraception. While in their schools were the ITS, the anatomy of the reproductive, sexual relationships, contraception and pregnancy, and in his group of friends discussed topics such as masturbation, erotica and sex (intercourse). It was concluded that in everyday family life of Adolescents 15 - 20 of HH AA Nuevo Horizonte were likely to be infected by a sexually transmitted infection due to lack of information on the subject by the family and its center studies.
