Abstract

This research includes a descriptive correlational cross-sectional, it's analyzed the impact of the intervention of the Public Ministry in the family's processing of the victims of family violence in the Judicial District of Liberty, 2008. The universe was comprised for 1105 complaints of family violence. Getting a sample of 88 family violence court records. It was applied The Scorecard Analysis of court records on domestic violence and Questionnaires: Family Functioning Questionnaire and the Opinion of the victim of family violence. It was applied chi-square test of independence of criteria to measure the impact between the study variables. The most important results show that: 1)…the provincial prosecutor, mostly provided for the measures to refrain from acts of violence and less frequently in other types of measures that respond to the discretion of the prosecutor. 2) The victims, prevails, the level of family dysfunction and the moderate level of family functioning. 3) domestic violence victims report that the protective measures given in tax base were not implemented in the majority, and finally 4) the functioning of the family of the victims of family violence is not related to any tax provision of protective measures.
