Proposal for a management-oriented sustainable development of tourism in the province of Santa Cruz region of Cajamarca, 2009

This research work proposes a management model that generates an improvement of sustainable development in the tourism area of the geographical area under study, generating added value in it and promote economically and socially to the community involved and the country. There are a lot of institutions that are involved in decision-making issues related to tourism, which allows improving the efficiency of the organization and administration of the sector by the country. In other hand there is a lack of legal remedies for protection of cultural and natural heritage inhibit sustainable development over time. The study is in the form of research, and the procedure for data collection was performed using an instrument called Inventory tourists as well as surveys and observations, citations, journals in the area, books, manuals and work degrees among others. This study will give an overview of how a management model may change the management of tourism in a particular geographic area, achieving a good sustainable development to improve the province and therefore the region to which it belongs.
