Abstract

The general objective of the research was to establish the relationship between Perception of Scientific teaching and knowledge of the methodology of scientific research in Master's students. The sample was 94 students for whose selection the stratified probabilistic sampling was used. They were administered two questionnaires with 35 items, respectively, to measure the variable perception of scientific education with its five dimensions: motivation, use of audiovisual aids, application of techniques, realization of experiences (workshops) and practices (formulation of the project). Statistical tables were used for the descriptive data and Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient test was used to verify the hypothesis. It is concluded that the dimensions of knowledge of scientific research methodology, such as project of investigation and application of that project, present the moderate direct relation with the perception of the scientific teaching of (p <0.01); while the development dimension of the research project also had a moderate direct relationship during the research process (p <0.01).
