As the implementation of public spaces, on the coastal edge generate positive urban-environmental effects, regenerating the physical and social structure of the buildings adjacent to the coast; Alternative solution to the loss of Buenos Aires beach. How will the implementation of public spaces contribute to improving urban-environmental conditions? The city is not only made up of buildings and systems, it is by nature the space where various activities, a meeting place, take place. Public space plays a fundamental role in urban revitalization. The objective was to determine if the implementation of public spaces will contribute to improve the impacts or urban-environmental effects between the coastal edge and the urban plot, elaborating an integral diagnosis, locating risk zones associated to the coastal edge and potential areas of intervention. The methodology addressed quantitative and qualitative urban-environmental aspects; Focusing on the descriptive survey, relating it to socio-economic activities. It is necessary the existence of urban-environmental and social degradation in a longitudinal strip of the urban area, an area at risk to natural disasters. The holistic solution focuses on the renovation of the affected strip, changing its current use, implementing a system of public spaces, constituting nodes that radiate a progressive regeneration in the area.
