Abstract

The main objective of this research was to establish the relationship between the management of human talent and the teaching performance of the Educational Institution No. 81002 “Javier Heraud” of Trujillo in 2013. The study was non-experimental, with a cross-sectional correlational design. The sample consisted of 40 participants, among directors and teachers at the secondary level. Data collection was obtained through two questionnaires with 20 items each. The questionnaires were validated by three experts and their reliability was then measured. The study results yielded, according to Pearson's correlation coefficient, a value of 0.479 ** with a significance level of 1%, which indicates that there is a moderate and highly significant direct relationship between the variables under study. It is concluded that in the dimensions of the human talent management variable: Coaching, Training and Evaluation, there is a moderate and highly significant direct relationship with Teaching Performance and in the Empowerment dimension it has a direct, low and significant relationship with Teaching Performance . It is recommended to execute the Human Talent Management Plan proposed in this study to develop a favorable work environment, thus conditioning mutual learning between teachers and managers.
