In the present study, the biocidal effectof different concentrations of Metarhizium anisopliae CCB-LE302 and Beauveria bassiana CCB-LE265 on larvae III of Aedes aegypti in laboratory conditions. Both strains of fungi were obtained from SENASA. The larvae of A.aegypti, from the Cerro Pesqueda, Province and District of Trujillo, kept at 24 ± 2º C and relative humidity of 70% ± 10. Bioassays were conducted with 8 experimental groups and 4 control groups, with 5 replicates of 20 larvae each. For M.anisopliae CCB-LE302, concentrations were 2.5x107, 2.5x106, 2.5x105 and 2.5x104 conidia/mL, LC50 and LC90 obtained on the sixth day of application is 3.9x104 conidia/ml and 1.6x105 conidia/mL on larvae III of Ae.aegypti. For B.bassiana CCB-LE265, concentrations were 1.3x107, 1.3x106, 1.3x105 and 1.3x104 conidia/mL, LC50 and LC90 obtained on the fifth day of application is 3.6x106 and 1.3x107 conidia/mL. It was concluded that entomopathogenic fungi have both a biocidal capability against Ae.aegypti.
