Importance of public policies for sustainable development in Latin American countries

The lack of knowledge regarding public policies under an integral approach to development and their deficient implementation in various Latin American countries, has originated and motivated the preparation of this article entitled "Importance of public policies for sustainable development in Latin American countries", which aims to consider the policies of a government as a main tool in search of the horizon of progress and development of its population, being fundamental elements for the balance of the political system and an effective functioning of democracy for a transparent government with an inspiring vision of the future. Finally, we conclude that our research topic is of public benefit for all the countries that are part of this continent, since it promotes the active participation of the population without any discrimination, nor compromising the opportunities of future generations to fulfill their objectives.
