The objective of this research was to learn and interpret the perceptions of victims and justice operators about the protection measures provided by the Family Courts of Lima to victims of violence. The research was of a basic type with a qualitative approach, using a phenomenological design. The technique used was the interview and the instrument used was the semi-structured interview guide, which allowed us to know the appreciation of the justice operators and the victims of violence on the protection measures provided by the Family Courts of Lima, with the participation of 8 informants, including victims of violence, judges, jurisdictional personnel and lawyers. It was concluded that the victims of violence and justice operators perceived that the protection measures provided by the Family Courts of Lima to the victims of violence often do not fulfill their purpose of protection, since the judge grants basic measures that generate inadequate measures, which results in the recurrence of violence against women, and that severe measures that are sufficient, effective and immediate should be granted.
