Business ethics and environmental responsibility in companies

This research addresses the topic of business ethics and environmental responsibility, fundamental pillars for those companies that aim to have sustainable and competitive development. Business ethics involves proceeding with transparency, integrity and respect towards all stakeholders and defense of fair practices. For its part, environmental responsibility results from assuming strategies that reduce its ecological impact, such as reducing emissions, promoting the circular economy or the use of renewable resources. Recognition by companies that integrate such values not only results in an improvement and reputation, but also promotes a consolidation of their market position, responding to the demands of consumers and regulators for a fairer business culture. The study aimed to promote the sustainability and responsible growth of companies through the integration of ethical and environmentally responsible practices in their operations and strategic decisions. The results reflect initial advances in the implementation of ethical and environmental practices, in addition to recognizing the key areas that need to be strengthened and important topics to consider such as ethics, internal and external dialogue in the strategic integration of sustainability policies.
